I Ralph Lauren Outlet think i have ruined my kids
I'm a terrible mother and i think i have ruined my kids.My daughter is 4.5yo and my son is 2yo.I'm afraid i let them watch too much tv.It's all that they want to do.I let them watch it so i can get some peace, but now i'm afraid i can't undo the habit.Even my 2 yo doesn't want to play outside, and wants the tv on.They will sit there and watch movies all the way through. They aren't very social(But my daughter is a bit more since she's in preschool for 3 hours), and are not interested in books or anything educational.I let this happen because i have bouts of depression and can't seem to be a proper mom.Ever since my mom died in feb.And my father on his death bed, i have relied on the tv a lot because i can't deal w/ the whining, fighting, etc.

So my question for anyone who is reading this, is it to late to undo the damage i have already done to my poor kids? How can i get them interested in learning and books?Everytime i try to read to my son, he just throws Louis Vuitton Bags uk the book out of my hands.I'm afraid i have just raised some lazy unruly kids.

The most important thing is that you realized you have messed up need to fix things. With just a little effort from you this can all be changed.I am sorry for the loss of your mother your father being sick, but you have to put your brave face on buck up for your kids' sake. Also, do you have a dog?If so you can always take them all out for a walk, i do that too, and she loves it.

You might also try just putting the movies away where your kids can't find them and unplug the tv, or simply make a few rules about tv watching and explain them to your kids, it might be rough at first but stick with it and you'll see results.Good luck.

You haven't ruined your kids, and they aren't unruly. For a while you may have let your tv raise your kids, now it is your time to be a more involved parent again.

Whining, fighting, screaming, are all natural.Your children are wrestling with new emotions, thoughts, and concepts all of the time. They also don't have the verbal skills to express what they are feeling, what they truly want, or why(A lot of adults don't have those skills either).Listen to what your kids are trying to tell you, not the words, but the needs they are having that aren't being fulfilled.

If you get rid of all the tvs in your house i am guessing your kids will fill that gap very quickly.

I agree, you haven't ruined your kids.Hug don't be so hard on yourself!Their behavior seems pretty normal imo, and developmentally on track for their ages.I also agree that it's not to late to change habits and introduce more constructive forms of entertainment and learning tools with them. You have the ability to turn off the tv, you just have to be consistent and involved to fill the time more constructively.

Sure, they may throw tantrums and it wOn't be easy to resist hitting that"On"Button, but it's honestly up to you to keep it off and turn them to more family oriented, physically active, mentally stimulating activities instead.

I like the idea of introducing books at night time we found that to be easiest as well.A nice time right before bed time spent reading together has been a very important part of our night time routine with our daughter. And it will bleed over to them finding interest in books during other times as well.
George Nobbs new leader of Norfolk County Council

The labour, liberal democrat and ukip groups united behind the labour leader to elect him 4237.

There had been doubt over whether the alliance would be backed by the green group, but all four green councillors voted for mr nobbs at the extraordinary meeting of the full council this morning.

After his opening remarks to the chamber, mr nobbs made two appointments to his cabinet to deal with the countys failing childrens services department a situation so serious it needed immediate action, he said.

Labours mick castle becomes cabinet member for education, and liberal democrat james joyce becomes cabinet member for safeguarding.Tom garrod and borrat and the rest of the gang dont want anyone prying into whats gone on so have put a man in to guard the skelitons in the cupboard.Go back and read the anchovey she was the one who put me on the trail of lisa preston aka lenin.

Unbelievably borat has offered tom garrod(The deputy cabinet member for children's services with responsibility for safeguarding during the worst ofsted or other report into safeguarding and social care services in norfolk's history)The shadow cabinet role for safeguarding. This shows you the arrogance of borar and the tory group!Tom garrod and his master alison 'turnip' thomas have failed our children! They didn't stand up to lisa 'lenin' christensen.Tom garrod was more concerned with getting his face in the paper and having a free lunch than helping vulnerable children.Borat needs tom garrod like london needed the fire and plague. The tories will never rule whilst they continue to show such arrogance, selfinterest and contempt for the norfolk people!

A dog's dinner maybe abraham, but with borat as leader we would have got the dinner after 24 hours in the dog.A big pile of it in fact.I look forward to seeing the strength of resolve to ditch the incinerator, which in turn will depend on the new portfolio holders remaining firm in the face of inevitable officer manipulation on this and every other issue in which they colluded with the previous rotten administration.Saddened to see the greens conspiring with the tories to fiddle tory majorities on some important committees. The tories with 40 out of 84 seats should not have a majority on anything.A failure of the new democracy at the first hurdle.

Sweet cheeks, if nobbs does want to put up council tax, i guess the conservatives will vote against it and ukip also has to vote against it as it is part of their national policy. He jumped in with both feet and landed us with a big tribunal award for not following procedures.I want her gone too, for the sake of all our children, but we must follow procedures rather than risk rewarding her.

Having watched proceedings this morning it was refreshing to see ncc work to resolve the stalemate. The conservatives were eager to exercise their bodies in trying to scupper each and every effort, every time they had to indicate a recorded vote they have to stand up to be counted, never did they had so much physical exercise during the last 20 years. There are some voices of caution.George nobbs has not said anything about the incinerator, although heading a rainbow coalition of newly elected objectors and mick castle, in charge of children services and education, is a supporter of the proposal to burn our waste. So please lobby the newly to be decided cabinet and ensure that the debate at full council on the 17th.June, all day is set aside for it, not long enough in my view, will decide to create jobs through recycling, landfill mining and gasplasma recovery.

I have always thought that some people know the cost of everything, but the value of nothing.Forget that district councils have cabinets; They are autonomous bodies it is a councillor borrett red herring, county cannot do anything about them only those councils could.

I think that we shall now find the conservative group quickly dropping cllr borrett as its leader. He has served the essential purpose of postdefeat cannon fodder, and the group will in any event want a much sharper performer leading the opposition, and chairing the important cabinet scrutiny committee. There will be no shortage of contenders for the 13k special responsibility allowance.I suspect that if cllr borrett had even loftier political aspirations, he has pretty much blotted his copybook at conservative central office in that respect.

Hooray! At last! Now let's see george nobbs get the officers under control. The all thought the toxic tories would be in power for ever and ever so they dont want to cooperate with a new regime.Got news for you fifi mcneill et al you are the oily rags. Now there is an engine driver in place you do as you are told and you can start by giving all the councillors and their legal advisers that incinerator contract in an unredacted form. What are you so afraid of?You are instructed by the councillors on behalf of the people of norfolk and you will end up in court if you dont start behaving yourself and doing what your bosses tell you to do.

I fear that fenscape and the pig have highlighted an extremely serious problem. These particular officers have acquired, under the previous administration, an unhealthy level of control and influence. In addition, some of them have proved to be either unnecessary or incompetent.Cllr dobbs and his colleagues really need to clear them out, pay what it costs and start again with replacements not wedded to the earlier tory cause. There will, for instance, be officer opposition to unscrambling the waste incinerator contract and selling off raf coltishall.
